This is the beauty and the beast of our outfit. My sweet wife Darla is the beauty who always add a spark to whatever we are doing. I am the beast (or the mule) of the group doing all of the planning, preparation, chuckwagon hauling and set up, cooking, manual labor, clean up and put away. I started cooking at an early age and have developed a passion in creating dishes that go above and beyond your normal catered event. I started blending my own dry spices many years ago after I never could find the one I was after. Once created, I started sharing with friends and they were an instant hit and the demand for them continues to increase.
The Wild Bunch
We usually do most of the catering ourselves, but have some excellent hired guns that share our passion that can step in at any time and help us meet the expectations of the larger events. This is Lonnie Rodriquez, actor, stuntman, super-wrangler and one helluva cook. We’ve been cooking together for over 30 years. This guy is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. Lonnie lives in Alpine, Texas with his wonderful wife Paula. We enjoy cooking with them whenever the opportunity arises.
